PLEASE NOTE
Lodging and Camping in the Rocky Mountains is at a premium in the Summertime.

Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to camp at an A1 camp spot.

In the best place to ride from in the Heart of the Rockies.

There is no electricity or potable water on the property.

So there are no additional fees for camping.

The on-property irrigation creeks, as well as the Arkansas river are suitable for after ride cooling off, rinsing, bathing, soaking & fishing.

This Club ride invites riders to experience a unique opportunity to camp in an awesome location un-accessible to the general public.

Ride the diverse mountain terrain in the Heart of the Rocky Mountains of south-central Colorado in Mid-August.

When it’s cool & green on the outer edge of monsoon season.

The ride staging area is well drained area on decomposed granite. No mud puddles in camp.

Set-up your campsite on mown grass.

The 40 loops consist of challenging Singletrack and Dual Sport, to easy Dual Sport & scenic Adventure routes.
Somebody has to finish the ‘Hero Loop’ this year, twice over the Divide on 5 Mountain Passes.

All the loops stage & start from the private River Park mine on the east side of the Arkansas River,.

Known for its rich mining & railroad history and vibrant outdoor culture Buena Vista serves as the perfect backdrop for an outstanding 6 days in the mountains.

Cloverleaf Loops
Experience the convenience of loops that begin and end at the River Park Mine just across the Arkansas River from Johnson Village.
Across the street is the 4 Mile OHV area and the Continental Divide just to the West.
Allowing for easy access and maximum riding time.
Night Ride Thursday or Friday Night
Enjoy the fun of a group night ride on an old Railroad right-of-way.
Beautiful Views of the Continental Divide from the old Colorado Midland railroad line above Buena Vista.
Headlamps are suggested on the this thrilling short night ride on dirt roads and rolling terrain at Sunset.

Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Buena Vista, with its iconic Downtown, Saloons, and mining and railroad history.
Enhance your Colorado week long adventure experience with a trip to downtown BV.
Saturday Night BBQ and Open Bar Party
Hang out with the Team of Like-minded enthusiast’s.
Enjoy a BBQ with Adult beverages included.
Ride HQ is the River Park MIne.
Riders will delight in the multiple options for Camping and RV parking.
Camp with the the group under the trees and enjoy large community bonfires or remote camp out back.
You could even get real remote and camp in the smooth old gravel Mine down near the River.
Summer Riding
Enjoy the awesome riding conditions with Colorado’s lovely at elevation cool summer weather, ideal for exploring diverse terrain.
It may rain since it’s near the end of Monsoon season and you’ll have the opportunity to ride moist dirt !

Partake in a Free Coffee and a riders meeting every morning at 8 AM.
Discuss what to Ride and check out.
Ride what you want to ride, when you want to ride it, with whoever you want to ride with.
The Club likes to see everyone on the trail by 9 AM, and be sure to check back in on final return each day.

Mosquito Pass is the highest Pass in the Country that goes somewhere. From Leadville to Alma, the 2 highest cities in the Country.
If you ride the Pass east from Leadville, you’ll end up in Fairplay. Fictional home of the TV show South Park.
The Club has off-road options on both sides of the Pass to keep you off of the pavement.

There are 120 private acres at the River Park Mine.
- Camping spots are level and available in the freshly mown grass
- Tent Campsites available under the trees along the creek.
- There is more than enough room to spread out if you wish.
- Remote camping & parking available
- Plenty of firewood is available onsite for a campfire if you’d like.
- There are 2 creeks suitable for bathing.
- Arkansas River access for bathing & fishing.
- New Porta Potties will be on site.
- Showers are available at 2 nearby Hot Springs for a fee.
- If you wish to shower and soak in a Rocky Mountain Hot Spring.
