Chaffee County, 'Mecca' in the Heart of the Rocky Mountains
Chaffee County sits on the eastern slope of the Continental Divide in the Heart of Rocky Mountains in south-central Colorado.

The County has more peaks over 14 k feet than other county in the Country.

Chaffee County is at the crossroads of the 3 US highways: 24, 50 and 285.

The elevation of the County ranges from just under 7,000 to over 14,000 feet on its highest peaks.
