Great Divide Adventure Rides
Great Divide Divide Adventure rides, on the Top of the Rockies and in the West.
- Multiple Multi-Day rides across the Continental Divide and the West.
- Rides include Gear portage, a chase truck, breakfasts, some dinners and camping.
- Lodging is generally held, but on you.
Discover hidden gems in the Rocky Mountains and the West.
- 3 Rides start in Colorado Springs.
- 2 near Buena Vista, CO, and 1 from the center of Colorado in Hartsel, Colorado.
- 1 each from Chama, New Mexico & Big Water, Utah and 1 from the 4 Corners to Wyoming for a COBDR+ Adventure.
Chaffee County, 'Mecca' in the Heart of the Rocky Mountains
Chaffee County sits on the eastern slope of the Continental Divide in the Heart of Rocky Mountains in south-central Colorado.
- The County has more peaks over 14 k feet than other county in the Country.
- Chaffee County is at the crossroads of the 3 US highways: 24, 50 and 285.
- The elevation of the County ranges from just under 7,000 to over 14,000 feet on its highest peaks.
‘Mecca’ refers to a place every rider should aspire to Visit.
Venture into the Wild West
- Ride on the San Andreas Fault on the Central Coast of California.
- In the Bradshaw Mountains of Central Arizona from Wickenburg, north of Phoenix.
- Circumnavigate Las Vegas on the Las Vegas 300 2 weeks before Thanksgiving.
- Ride on the old Spanish Border where few people venture.
- Try a Lake Powell Backroads Adventure in May.
- Or an Adventure in the Lost Sierras in October.
- Bucket-list adventure’s await in Western & Eastern Cuba this winter.
Adventure Rides in the West.
- Super fun ADV Loops on the Father’s Day Ride.
- The Crystal Park Adventure. A fantastic ride through Garden of the Gods, then to what was known back in the day as the ‘Wondertrip of the World’ up to Crystal Park above Colorado Springs. Then top the ride off with a loop up the Rampart Range to the top of Pikes Peak.
- Two top of the Rockies rides in July and September from the Colorado Springs airport over 11 + High Mountain Passes. This ride has so much going for it, it takes too many words here. See the full description on this LINK.
- A 7 Day Colorado Backroads Discovery Ride the last week of August (COBDR+) from the 4 Corners. With a rest day on Day 4.
- Ride where few people Venture on the old Spanish Border of Northern New Mexico the 1st weekend of Autumn.
- The Hartsel Lodge Adventure Rendezvous is an Epic weekend from the very middle of Colorado. Multiple loops that are 2 up suitable. Bring your significant other for a fantastic ride through Fall foliage.
- The Las Vegas 300 has suitable Adventure bike loops. If your up for a bit of a challenge over 7,700 foot Wheeler Pass.
